Week 41 - Bueeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnas TARDES!!!

Bueeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnas TARDES!!!

This week has gone by so dang fast... i feel like today should only be wednesday not saturday again.. haha

There was a pretty strong earthquake down in the central part of mexico, in Mexico, Puebla, and Morelos, and lots of people have died and they are finding people everyday in the rubble. Please put them in your prayers! Even in times like this, god doesnt abondon his people. These are the opportunities that we have to get closer to him, and to serve our fellow men in their times of need.

Not even sure what to write about cause so much happened... haha

On tuesday was when the earthquakes happened, and two american elders leaving texas on thier way to the Mexico mtc where in the air already when it hit. The airport over there shut down and while they were in the air, their flights were rerouted to the monterrey airport. haha they were both on separate flights, but ended up finding eachother (only white guys there) By some stroke of luck, a member who just happened to speak english talked to them and figured out what was going on and called us at the office! They then brouht the elders to us and they were our companions for a day! haha we took one of them with us andthe other secretaries took the other one. keep in mind these elders were on their way to the mtc.... no spanish experience or anything. hahaha Such a cool experience for them! We fed our little greenie some campechanas and real mexican coke! haha was pretty cool
last sunday i spoke in church! i really enjoy getting to speak in my little ward here! especially since im not gonna be in this ward for much longer:/
Remember all the 55 new mattresses, 30 new fridges and many more smaller items? This week we finished delivering all ofthem to every house in the mission. We have been getting up everyday at around 5:45 to go to the office and load up enriques truck and then getting ready for the day at the office. It has been feeling pretty heavy lately getting up way earlier than the normal 6:30 time like everyone else. It has been so worth it to hear all oftthe positive feedback from everyone! The new mattresses i bought are the brand "Sealy" and are way better than the crappy mexican ones everyone is usedto. Haha im so happy i have been able to acomplish something big while i havebeen in the offices, and help the missionaries have a better quality of living!
Speaking of the office.... On monday i started training elder Page how to be the next financial secretary. Im outta the offices on the 10th of october i think. Getting close! Im on the closing stretch! haha and then back out into the world and preaching the gospel much more:)
WE BAPTISED LIDIA THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is the one who quit smoking and drinking just like that!!!!! She has progressed so dang fast! and she was baptised yesterday. I baptised her, and my companion is going to confirm her with the holy ghost tommorow in church! It was so awesome to have all her friends from work (including damariz who we baptised like 4ish months ago) Now all of the girls that work for bishop have been baptised! hahaha the ward keeps joking that was my job here in the ward. Thats why i was here for so long! hahaha i lovethe way the lord works and manifests himself in our lives.
Thats basically the quick summary! Missionary work is dope, and thats about it! hahaha

Love yall!
